Instructions to make Hot Broccoli Pops:
- Measure and prepare all your ingredients. Take a broccoli and break it into medium sized florets. In a separate bowl, add vinegar, ketchup, honey, soy sauce, hot sauce and water. Mix it well, heat it in a pan until the sides start bubbling. Turn off the flame and keep aside for later use.
- In another bowl, put flour, garlic powder, breadcrumbs, salt, baking powder, cornflour and hand mix thoroughly to combine everything well. Take another bowl, mix buttermilk and hot sauce. Stir to combine well. Add 3 tbsps of this mix to the dry mix.
- Using your hands, combine it to change it's texture into coarse crumbs. Take each floret of the broccoli and coat it with the dry mix first. Now dip the florets into the buttermilk mix next.
- Now second coat with the dry mix and set it individually in a baking tray. Lightly brush the tray first and toss the florets into the tray and put it in a 200 degrees pre heated oven. When baked, toss it in the sauce prepared earlier. Garnish with garlic and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
