- Mix the Flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and baking powder together. Sieve and keep aside.

- Grease a cake tin using butter or oil and dust some flour and coat all the sides. Pour the batter and place it in a preheated heavy bottom non-stick pan. Cover and cook for 40 -45 minutes or until done. A lid with a glass pan would give you proper view of cooking and no need to open and check. You can also bake it in a pre heated oven at 180-200 °C for 35-40 minutes. Insert a knife or toothpick to check whether done or not. When done take out and keep aside to cool.
- In a saucepan, take butter, fresh cream, cocoa powder and sugar. Heat and cook until the sugar melts and forms to a thick saucy consistency. Switch off and keep aside to cool. Add few drops of vanilla essence. Chocolate Ganache ready.
- When cool pour the ganache over the cake. Break the Choco Sticks and stick them around the cake. Garnish with heart shaped chocolate cuttings. Tie a ribbon around the cake to make it more presentable.
- Note : If baking in a pan… You can spread some sand or salt at the base and keep a stand and then place your cake tin.
